A band playing Polish pre-war jazz. A remarkable pianist Marcin Masecki joined forced with Jan Emil Młynarski to create a band referring to the old tradition of Polish jazz orchestras from the interwar period. Jazz-Band’s repertoire encompasses mostly unknown swing songs and unique tangos. Contrary to popular belief, jazz didn’t reach Poland through the waves of Radio Free Europe and its secret broadcasts. It happened at the beginning of the 20th century, thanks to composers such as Henryk Wars, Jerzy Petersburski or brothers Artur and Henryk Gold.
