The lead singer of Hey, one of the most popular rock bands in Poland. She began her solo career in 1996 with the “Puk.Puk” album, deviating far away from the achievements of her mother band and focusing on electronic music. Over the following years, while still working with Hey, Nosowska managed to release five more albums: “Milena”, “Sushi”, “Uni Sex Blues”, “Osiecka” and “8”. Not that long ago, the artist said goodbye to her mother band in order to focus on her solo career. Her new album is scheduled to be released later this year, but parts of it will already be presented at the Festival. Her solo records constitute ambitious pop influenced by electro, r’n’b, rock and blues. Nosowska’s is famous for her charismatic vocal and remarkable lyrics. She won the Polityka’s Passport award, received 21 “Fryderyk” statuettes, and was honoured with the Golden Cross of Merit.
