Electronic music composer and sound artist from Teheran. His records were released by many acclaimed labels, such as Warp, Sub Rosa, Opal Tapes and Morphine Records. Sote juxtaposes electro-acoustic techniques and polyrhythmic motives with traditional Persian music, creating unique sound structures that combine thousands years of history with the latest technology. Thanks to simultaneous involvement in academic art and club music, his work successfully avoids genre classification. During the Festival Sote will be joined by a visual artist, Tarik Barri, who became famous after his collaboration with Radiohead.
