access and safety

  • At what time can the audience enter the Festival grounds?

    Both on Friday (June 29) and Saturday (June 30), the entry gates open at 5:00 pm. On Thursday (June 28) and Sunday (July 1) entry to NOSPR from 7:00 pm.

  • Where is the entrance to the Festival grounds?

    On June 29 and 30 (Friday and Saturday) only ONE entrance to the Festival grounds, located at the side of the Silesian Museum, will be open (entrance from Tadeusza Dobrowolskiego Street). The entrance to NOSPR (Thursday and Sunday) from Wojciech Kilar’s Sqiare.

  • Can minors enter the Festival site?

    Minors under the age of 15 can stay within the Festival area ONLY under supervision of an adult who, on entering the event for the first time, signs a special declaration of taking responsibility for the minor (at the info point).
     
    Minors aged 15-18 years can stay within the Festival area without adult supervision, but on entering the event for the first time they have to go to the info point and provide a delariation of cosent for their participation in the event signed by their parent or legal guardian.

  • Will there be a secure storage facility?

    Yes. The storage facility will be located near the ticket offices in front of the main entrance to the Festival grounds (Tadeusza Dobrowolskiego Street) and will remain open on Friday (June 29) and Saturday (June 30) from 5:00 pm until all concerts are finished. Storage fee: PLN20 / item.

  • Will there be a lost and found office?

    Yes. The lost and found office will be located near the ticket offices in front of the main entrance to the Festival grounds (Tadeusza Dobrowolskiego Street) and will remain open on Friday (June 29) and Saturday (June 30) from 5:00 pm until all concerts are finished. After the Festival is finished, lost things can be picked up here: More Music Agency, ul. Wojewódzka 26a/5, 40-026 Katowice.

  • Can I bring an umbrella to the festival ground?

    Yes.

  • Can I bring a bike, rollerblades, skateboard, scooter etc.?

    For safety reasons, the Organiser does not allow those items within the Festival grounds. 

  • Can I bring my dog?

    Bringing a dog (or any other animal) to the Festival grounds is prohibited.  

  • Can I bring my deckchair / chair?

    Unfortunately not.  

  • Can I bring professional video and/or audio recording equipment?

    It is not permitted to bring photographic equipment that can be used professionally, eg. 35mm SLRs, digital SLRs, medium and large format cameras, etc.! It is also forbidden to bring video cameras and professional sound recorders to the festival ground. Only accredited journalists are entitled to bring professional audio and video recording equipment. 

  • Can I enter the Festival site with an electronic cigarette?

    Yes.

  • Can people with chronic disease, for example diabetes, take their medicines and necessary medical equipment or bring their own food?

    Persons whose state of health requires specialist medication may bring the necessary medication, medical equipment, food and beverages to the festival ground, but a medical certificate is required.

  • Do I have to bring an ID to enter the Festival area?

    Yes. An ID is required and security staff may ask you to present it.  

  • Can I leave the Festival grounds and return after some time?

    Yes, if you wear a valid, undamaged and fastened wristband. You can enter the Festival grounds only through the main entrance from Tadeusza Dobrowolskiego Street.

  • Am I insured within the Festival area?

    Yes. The Organiser has a third-party liability insurance.

  • Until when will tickets be available online?

    During the Festival (June 28 – July 1), tickets for particular days will be available for sale online 24/7 at going.pl and ticketmaster.pl

  • Will tickets be available for purchase at the entrance to the event area?

    Yes, on each day of the Festival there will be stationary ticket sales points open.
    June 28, NOSPR stationary ticket offices, 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm (wristband exchange and ticket sales)
    June 29 – 30, main entrance from Tadeusza Dobrowolskiego, between 4:00 pm and 4:00 am
    July 1, NOSPR stationary ticket offices, 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm

  • Do I have to print out my e-ticket that I purchased online?

    No, but to avoid potential problems with e-ticket reading we encourage to bring a printout as well.

  • I cannot attend the event. Can I return my ticket and how can I do that?

    The purchased tickets / passes are non-exchangeable and non-refundable. 

  • Can I exchange my ticket for a different one?

    Unfortunately, it is not possible.

  • Will I get a discount when buying group tickets?

    Unfortunately not.

  • What if I lose my wristband? Can I get a duplicate?

    There will be no possibility of getting wristband duplicates.  

  • My wristband has been damaged. Can I replace it with a new one?

    Yes. Go immediately to the Information Point at the entrance gate to the festival ground where your wristband will be replaced with a new one and fastened on your wrist. Only wristbands that got damaged within the event area will be replaced. 

  • I bought a ticket, and it was sent by post but has not arrived yet. What should I do?

    Should your ticket or pass not arrive 2 days before the start of the Festival at the latest, contact Ticketmaster office from Monday to Friday between 09:00 am and 5:00 pm.

  • I lost my ticket. What should I do?

    In case of damage, destruction, loss or theft of tickets, contact Ticketmaster to determine the complaint procedure.

  • What are the acceptable forms of payment at the Festival grounds?

    The only acceptable forms of payment at the Festival site shall be special coupons and debit/credit cards.

  • Will there be an ATM at the Festival grounds?

    There will be no ATM at the Festival grounds. 

  • Which payment / credit cards will be accepted?

    The following cards will be accepted at the festival grounds: Diners Club, Discover, Maestro, Master Card, VISA. 

food and drinks

  • Where within the Festival area can I buy water?

    Water will be available at bars with alcohol and special points within the Festival area marked with “WODA/WATER” signs.

  • Can I bring my own food and drinks to the Festival grounds?

    It is forbidden to bring your own food or drinks to the Festival ground. 

  • Can I bring my own alcohol to the Festival area?

    No. It is forbidden to bring your own alcohol.  

  • Will it be possible to buy strong liquors within the Festival area?

    Yes. Strong liquors will be available for sale. 

  • Will it be possible to buy cigarettes within the Festival area?

    The Organiser does not plan to sell cigarettes, but they will be available for sale in limited amounts at the Cadenza restaurant (NOSPR). 

  • Will there be vegetarian / vegan products available within the Festival area?

    Yes.

  • Can people with disabilities (with confirmed disability) get a discount on tickets?

    The discount does not apply to persons with disabilities.  

  • Does the carer of a disabled person have to buy a ticket?

    Yes.  

  • Can a blind person enter the festival area with an assistance dog?

    Yes, but only if the person with a disability shows a certificate confirming the status of the assistance dog and the required vaccination certificate of the dog.  

  • Will there be toilets for people with disabilities at the Festival ground?

    Yes. There will be toilets for people with disabilities at the Festival ground. 

  • Will there be parking spaces for people with disabilities?

    Yes.

  • Can I bring a child to the Festival site?

    Yes, but minors under the age of 18 can take part in the event only if supervised by an adult who, on entering the event for the first time, will have to sign a declaration of taking responsibility for the minor, provided by the Organizer! 

  • Does the child have to have a ticket?

    Children up to 10 years old have free admission to the Festival grounds.  

  • Will there be a Kids Zone within the Festival area?

    Of course! We also invite parents with children to the Festival.  

  • On what days and at what times will the Kids Zone be open?

    The Kids Zone will be open on Friday and Saturday (June 29-30) from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm. 

  • Will there be a fee for leaving my children at the Kids Zone?

    No, no at all, it will be totally free!

  • Do I need to register my child in advance?

    There’s no need to do that.  

  • Are there any age restrictions for children in the Kids Zone?

    Yes. The minimum age of a child is 4 years and the maximum age is 12 years. 

  • Who will be taking care of children in the Kids Zone?

    Pre-school teachers. 

  • I met a lost child at the Festival site. What should I do?

    Every child receives a wristband with their parent’s/guardian’s phone number at the entrance. Call their parent or/and bring the child to the info/ticket point. 

parking & access

  • I want to come by bike. Will I be admitted to the Festival area?

    Due to safety concerns, entry to the Festival area with a bike will not be possible.  

  • Will there be guarded bike stands within the Festival area?

    Bike stands will be located by the main entrance to the Festival area, but they will not be guarded. Additionally, there will be a temporary “City By Bike” docking station located somewhere near the main entrance.

  • Will there be a parking lot for cars within the Festival area?

    No, the Organiser does not provide parking lots for the participants. Our event takes place in the city centre and we are not able to prepare parking spots for that many vehicles. We recommend using public transport. 

  • What is the best way to get to the Festival grounds by public transport from the central railway station in Katowice?

    You can get to the Festival grounds with all buses stopping at the Roundabout and/or at Rozdzinskiego Str. There will also be free transport for festivalgoers, i.e. marked buses going from the central railway station, through the city centre, the Campsite, near the Festival grounds, i.e. to Rozdzinskiego Street. 

  • Will there be a parking lot at the campsite?

    Yes. The number of parking spots is limited and they are intended for campsite residents ONLY. The parking lot is free.

  • Is it possible to reserve a parking spot?

    Unfortunately not.

  • What are the GPS coordinates of the festival site?

    Latitude: 50.263507 | Longitude: 19.03489 

national polish radio symphony orchestra chamber music hall

  • Is the number of seats limited?

    Due to its unique character, the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra Chamber Music Hall has a limited number of seats. For safety reasons, only a limited number of people will be permitted to enter the hall. In order to have a guaranteed seat at the Chamber Music Hall, it is worth arriving well in advance.

  • Does the pass / 1-day ticket guarantee entry to the Chamber Music Hall?

    Priority will be given to people with 4-day tickets and they will be able to enter the Chamber Music Hall 20 minutes before the scheduled concert time. 10 minutes prior to the concert, the doors will be opened for everyone else. The number of seats will be limited and in both cases the “first come, first serve” rule applies. The pass / 1-day ticket does not guarantee the entry to the Chamber Music Hall.

  • Do I need an additional ticket / guest pass to enter the concert?

    No. The first 400 people will be able to attend the concert at the Chamber Music Hall. 

  • Can I reserve a seat?

    Unfortunately not.  

campsite

  • On what days and at what times will the campsite be open?

    June 28 (Thursday): from 12:00 pm
    July 2 (Monday): to 12:00 pm

  • How can I buy an extra spot at the campsite?

    During the pre-sale period, campsite spots can only be bought together with Festival tickets. People who have already purchased tickets and now want to also use the campsite will be able to buy a spot at the stationary campsite ticket office. Price: PLN60.

  • Is the campsite open 24/7?

    Yes. 

  • How can I get from the campsite to the Festival?

    The Organisers will provide free bus service from the campsite to the Festival site both ways. 

  • Will there be sanitary units on the campsite?

    Yes, there will be sanitary units with warm showers on the campsite. 

  • Can I bring alcohol to the campsite?

    Yes.  

  • Will the campsite be guarded?

    The campsite security will be provided by professional security service 24 hours a day.

  • Who can stay at the campsite?

    Only people who bought campsite spots and have the right wristband will be allowed. Outsiders (e.g. guests) will not be allowed to enter.  

  • Will there be a parking lot at the campsite?

    Yes. The parking lot is free for campsite residents.

  • Will there be a place for camper vans on the campsite?

    Unfortunately not. There will only be places to put up tents. 

  • Will there be a shop on the campsite?

    No.  

  • Will there be a place with an electrical connection?

    Unfortunately not.  

  • Will there be a secure storage facility on the campsite?

    No. 

  • Will it be possible to rent camping equipment, such as tents and sun loungers?

    The rental of recreational equipment is not planned.  

  • Will there be Wi-Fi on the campsite?

    No. 

  • Will there be kitchen facilities and kitchen utensils (cookers, dishes) on the campsite with the possibility to prepare meals?

    No.

  • How can I lodge a complaint?

    Complaints should be sent by registered mail no later than 14 days after the Festival to the following address:
