The authors of the “Uran Uran” play:

Wojciech Kucharczyk
– musician and activist. He has spent years trying to push boundaries and overcome divisions in the field of art as well as other areas. He has released several dozen records, books and albums, had many exhibitions and executed a lot of other projects. Since 1995, he has been running his own label, Mik Musik. Since 2014 he has also been working as a music curator whose most important project is the original programme of the Carbon stage at Tauron Nowa Muzyka in Katowice.

Paulina Jaksim – artist form the Polish Dance Theatre. She regularly cooperates with leading representatives of the world of dance. She graduated from the Codarts University of Arts in Rotterdam and studied at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. She acted as the artistic director of the Caro Dance Theatre and now works with the .wju collective on multimedia shows.

Kasia Kulmińska – trained classical ballet dancer. Over the course of her nine-year-long education, she has had a few chances to practice at the Grand Theatre in Poznan. After graduation, she joined the Polish Dance Theatre team, where she is still having the time of her life. She continues to develop her dancing and choreography skills, while successfully performing on many international stages.

Krystian Szymczak – costume, stage and fashion designer. He majored in Fashion Design at the University of Fine Arts in Poznan. He skilfully combines theatre and fashion, playing around with different styles and conventions. He experiments with forms and creates his own fabrics, focusing his work on the theatre.

Piotr Steczek – composer, arranger, multi-instrumentalist, graduate of the Academy of Music in Katowice, violinist at the Aukso Chamber Orchestra of the City of Tychy. He has devoted many years to exploring music from different parts of the world and collecting original ethnic instruments, which he plays on and uses for his numerous music projects. His works are inspired by classical music as well as jazz, electro and broadly defined World Music.

Marcin Liber – director, set designer and screenwriter, one of the founders of the independent Poznan-based theatre Usta Usta. He is an award-winning author of several dozen shows. He collaborated with Teatr Dnia Ósmego (Eighth Day Theatre) and helped create Teatr Biuro Podróży (Travel Agency Theatre).
